Dorian Paul, a native Houstonian born April 16th, is a writer-producer-author and entertainer of music. His roots of musical love are extensive, from the beautiful melodies of acapella gospel, the persuasive power of James brown funk, to the screaming guitars of Prince, Van Halen & Journey. Dorian’s Career started with Tom Joyner breaking his first single in the Dallas area entitles, “Stacked to the T”. This lead to him being discovered by the Great Charlie Wilson & the Gap Band, Where Wilson Sharpened the skills of his protégé.

Dorian went on to write and assist in producing songs on 5 of the Gap Band Albums. He’s also performed on stage with everyone from Michael Jackson to Whitney Houston, and sang background vocals for the Great Celine Dion.

He has currently completed his debut single, “I Believe” from his upcoming album “Cause I want to-Cause I can,” on W.O.W. Entertainment / 5th Avenue Entertainment. Dorian Paul wishes to be an artist who gives great music, great performances & great acts of service.

That’s why with proceeds from his debut single “I believe,” Dorian’s Traveling to the Areas that were devastated by the Hurricanes to Assist with their rebuilding.
